Head of Infrastructure

The 888 Infrastructure group consists of 4 teams operating the company core services and online operations: DevOPS cloud team, Data Services team, Infra and Network teams.

As the Head of Infrastructure, You will be reporting to 888’s CIO and work closely with R&D, Architecture, and the IT groups to find solutions to support the business needs and take major role in 888 transformation to hybrid architecture.

You will be in charge of the company’s global data centers running both OnPrem and public cloud.

As part of your role, you will also manage the relationship with many IT vendors.

 As a Head of Infrastructure you will be responsible for:

 Leading 888 infrastructure running all environments, specifically a 24/7 highly available multi site production environment.

In this position, you will have to work closely with other teams in order to setup and improve the current infrastructure to be more efficient and support R&D and business growing needs.

  • 10+ years’ experience in managing IT teams, among them at least 3 years’ experience as IT/Infrastructure manager leading group of several teams in production 24/7 highly available global environment.
  • A good understanding of public cloud concepts (AWS – Must) and experience with setting up hybrid solutions between cloud and On-Prem environments.
  • Experience with Budget planning and procurement processes.
  • Experience with leading complex IT Projects to meet business KPIs
  • A good understanding of Data systems, such relational DBs, Big Data and DWH solutions.
  • Experience with DevOps culture, concepts and processes – leading innovation in organization to improve efficiency.
  • Security concept understanding (DDoS, Hardening) – Advantage
