DevOps Manager

Are you our next DevOps Manager?

We are looking for an experienced & hands-on DevOps manager that will oversee the day-to-day management of the team, it will be your responsibility to manage and educate teams at the frontline of our platform and gaming delivery operation in a hybrid environment.

You will require proven hands-on experience, alongside the ability to communicate, deliver, and support the solutions being developed by the teams, drawing on a wide range of skills covering software development, technical architecture, IT service management and infrastructure operations.

Your Role

  • Oversee the implantation, deployment, and integration of solutions, ensuring successful delivery, high quality, and sustainability of solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of solutions deployment and technical operations.
  • Manage DevOps team, assigning and monitoring workflow and maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Lead the transformation of 888’s systems to automated, cloud-based, containerized and microservices-based platforms.
  • Develop diverse scripts and tools for better control and maintenance of the environments.
  • Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Encourage a distributed DevOps team towards a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Your Skills:

  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps team leader.
  • You have an understanding of Web & Mobile online Application architectures.
  • You have experience with internet technologies (Networking, Web Servers, DNS, load balancing, CDN etc).
  • You have experience with Linux & Windows system administration.
  • You have experience with the management & operation of Kubernetes and Containers.
  • You have experience as a leader/mentor of the SRE team.
  • You have an understanding of CI / CD concepts and experience with any release systems
  • You have experience with development or scripting; PowerShell/Python/Shell preferred.
  • You have experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible or an equivalent.
  • You have an agile approach and mindset.
  • You are proactive in improving processes and finding new solutions to challenging business problems.
