Business Economist

888, a leader in the online gaming industry is looking for a dynamic and passionate Business Economist who wish to take part in great projects in the areas of Market analysis, Financial & Business modeling 

 As part of your role you will be part of the Economic Strategy team. Support efficient decision making for the company management via economical tools and data-driven models

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility in the company forecasting process across verticals and units
  • Build economic tools and models that will support the company management in the decision making process
  • Market analysis and Competitors Financial Benchmarking
  • Create and maintain economic data bases and financial products
  • Provide analysis of actual results vs. set targets
  • Ad-hoc analysis of company products and services via usage of several data sources
  • Work in full coloration with the company different business units and focal points

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics , Finance or Industrial Engineering, MBA an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business economics or quantitative analysis
  • Strong technical capabilities, high level Excel including VB, familiarity with BI tools
  • Experience analyzing big data bases using Business Objects (BO) or SQL- an advantage
  • Online arena familiarity and the I-gaming industry in particular – an advantage
  • Interpersonal skills, good verbal and written English communication skills needed
  • Hard worker, creative, and willing to learn
