Site Manager of R&D Center

For 888 development projects, we are looking for a Site Manager to Kiev (Ukraine) to lead and manage an R&D group of ~70 outsourced people.

Overall responsibility includes: Site management, Operations, Processes & Methods, budget management, HR and Recruitment aspects, while collaborating in a matrix and SCRUM environments both with local and Israeli teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work at the development center located in Kiev.
  • Good understanding of the online gaming market.
  • 2-4 years’ of experience in technical operational management at an online software company with proven experience in managing large teams of 40+ employees including management of multiple teams and managers.
  • Acquaintance with Kiev offshore outsource market, recruitment challenges and technical trends – an advantage 
  • Previous experience in working at online software company – an advantage.
  • Processes and methodologies – Proven experience in SCRUM methodologies, project management and SW deliveries.
  • Proven experience in management of multiple SW projects, multiple teams under tight timelines
  • Ability to establish efficient methods/processes for site controlling and reporting.
  • Familiarity with HR and recruitment processes as well as building employees relevant training program
  • Ability to lead, plan and manage in a constant dynamic and changing environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills in Russian and English.
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and drive employees.
  • Ability to drill down into details while still not lose focus of the wide picture.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science (or similar) / engineering.
  • Master’s degree – an advantage.
